Accessibility
Version 2026.05.2 · Last updated · Effective
Introduction
ChronoLedger is built for people who track billable time every day — at desks, in transit, with assistive technology. We are committed to making both our marketing site and the application usable for the widest reasonably practicable audience, including people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.
Accessibility is treated as a feature, not an afterthought. Each release goes through a basic accessibility checklist, and we welcome feedback on areas where we can do better.
Standards we follow (WCAG 2.2 AA target)
We design and build against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, targeting Level AA. This is the de facto standard adopted by the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), which became applicable on 28 June 2025 to digital services provided to consumers in the European Union and is the standard most major procurement frameworks expect. In practice this means:
- Sufficient colour contrast for body text and interactive elements (4.5:1 minimum, 3:1 for large text and non-text content).
- Full keyboard navigation across all interactive elements, with visible focus indicators that are not obscured by sticky headers or overlays (WCAG 2.4.11 / 2.4.12).
- Semantic HTML — landmarks, headings, lists, and form labels — so screen readers can navigate the document structure.
- ARIA attributes used sparingly and only where native semantics are insufficient;
role="dialog"witharia-modal="true", focus trapping, and Escape-to-dismiss on modal surfaces. - Text alternatives for non-decorative images and icons.
- Labels in name (WCAG 2.5.3) and target-size minimums (WCAG 2.5.8) for interactive controls.
- Resizable text up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Drag-movement alternatives (WCAG 2.5.7) for drag-and-drop interactions.
- Respect for the user's
prefers-reduced-motionsetting.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our marketing site or in the Service, please tell us. Useful information includes the page or screen, the assistive technology and browser you are using, and what you were trying to do. We aim to respond within five business days and to fix issues that affect core workflows as a priority.
Email legal@chrono-ledger.com or use the general contact channels in the footer. Where we are required by applicable law to provide a formal accessibility statement (for example, under the European Accessibility Act transposition in your country), we will treat your feedback as part of the statutory feedback channel.
