ChronoLedger
For Agency Employees

A timer that respects your time.

One tap to start. No nags, no surveillance, no exposing your internal rate to clients.

What we hear

Trade these pain points for outcomes

  1. Time-tracking tools nag you about idle time and screenshots.

ChronoLedger has no activity tracker, no screen capture, and no periodic prompts.

  2. You worry your hourly cost will end up visible to a client.

Internal rates are stripped server-side from any response a Client or Employee profile receives.

  3. Logging time on the move means choosing between accuracy and sanity.

The mobile timer takes one tap to start and one to stop. Switch projects without re-entering details.

  4. You spot a typo on yesterday's entry and can't fix it without bothering ops.

Edit any past entry yourself. Every change is captured in the audit log so nothing is hidden.

What you get

Everything Agency Employees need

Low-friction timer

Start in one tap from web or mobile. The most common project surfaces first. No required fields blocking the start.

Time-off and non-billable support

Track sick days, training, internal projects, and meetings as first-class entries — not awkward workarounds.

Editable history with audit log

Fix yesterday's mistake without raising a ticket. Every edit is timestamped and attributed in the audit log.

No surveillance, ever

No screenshots, no idle pings, no keystroke counting. Logging time is a tool for billing, not a leash.

Common questions

Will my hourly cost be visible to clients?
Internal cost is a Business Owner-only field. The server filters it out of every response sent to a Client profile, so it cannot accidentally appear in a UI, an export, or an API call. Whether your own employer chooses to share it with you is up to them — that's a workspace setting, not a ChronoLedger restriction.
Is there activity tracking, idle detection, or screenshotting?
No. ChronoLedger does not capture screenshots, monitor application focus, or count keystrokes. The only signal is the time you log yourself.
Can I edit a time entry from earlier this week?
Yes. You can edit your own entries; every change is recorded in the audit log so the history is preserved without making you ask permission.
Does the mobile timer work offline?
The mobile experience is a fast PWA. Starting and stopping a timer works without a stable connection; entries sync when you reconnect.
What happens after I submit my timesheet?
It enters your manager's approval queue. Once approved, the hours flow into the project's invoice draft on the agency owner's side — you don't need to handle billing.
Does my employer pay extra for me to use ChronoLedger?
No per-seat fee. ChronoLedger billing is token-based at the workspace level — adding employees does not raise the cost. Every account gets free tokens each week.
